      It’s a question we’re all asking ourselves right now. We see grids closing. We hear all the whispers of doom. We wonder what the future holds for Opensim. We’ve been quiet at Nara’s Nook lately, but not because we depressed about the future. Summer is the time we work on our big projects with an aim to taking them public in the fall.     Imagine a place where you can interact with readers and there is no big corporation controlling what you do. No third parties are around gathering personal information about you to sell. Imagine being able to invite fans to your space, introducing them to your characters and exploring your story worlds with them. What you see above is a demo of such a place.     Storm Runners: A Storm for the Future

    The idea  for Storm Runners was born during Super Storm Sande. With the hurricane seasons running much later and starting much earlier than they used to—sometimes we have tropical storms forming in Atlantic in January or February a—the potential for storms that are tropical in origins but developing into blizzards, or what some call snowicanes increases. In addition to the massive coastal damage Sande caused in New York and New Jersey, Sande dropped 3-5 feet of snow in locations on the western side of the storm.
